Host Platform Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions for Event Hosts, June 2nd, 2024

Host Responsibilities

• Accurately represent their event's description, address, and event capacity.

• In the case of event cancellation, the host is responsible for refunding all ticket purchases to their customers less payment processing and Event Genie platform fees.

• Responsible for covering any payment processing fees associated with a payment dispute. This can include up to the entire purchase cost and $15 per dispute.

Event Genie has full liberty to protect end customers and remove hosts in violation of these Terms and Conditions. Use of the Event Genie platform to host events equates to acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Event Genie's Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and secure purchasing flow to minimize fraudulent payments and subsequent dispute claims.

  • Work with hosts to win in the rare cases where payment disputes occur.

• In the case where the event is still scheduled to take place, Event Genie is responsible for processing all refunds for customers that have purchased Anytime Refund ticket upgrades.
