While planning our High School Reunion, we struggled with identifying a cost effective way to collect tickets. Everywhere we looked, fees were high, opaque, and would have cut significantly into our event's revenue - or forced us to foist extra charges on our classmates.

We realized a low-fee, transparent ticketing platform was missing, and set out to build one without sacrificing service quality.

Our goal in building Event Genie is to allow event creators and attendees to run and attend events as easily as possible while paying the lowest fees.
